As I mentioned in my last post we are now in a new season. A season that we have never seen or experienced before. With a new season there needs to be a new mindset or new way of thinking. The old season is gone so an old mindset will not bring us into the promises that this one has to offer. As in all our actions as Christians we must receive and act according to the Word of God, the Spirit of God and according to our faith, remember “without faith it’s impossible to please God” Hebrews 11:6.
If our mindset is changed our prayer life will change and our prayers will become more effective. Also we will be open to new ways of combating our adversary and thwarting his objectives. Yes we have an adversary for those of you who have may forgotten and he still seeks to “steal, kill and destroy”(John 10:10) us and the blessings our Lord has in store for us. One of the definitions of this season is Isaiah 43: 18-19 which says “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (NIV).
Wow! God is amazing church and we are going to see and do many amazing things in His name! Are you ready? It’s a season of action so we MUST ACT! Lives depend on it!!
Be encouraged blessed of God for you are His carriers of the “Good News” let us proclaim it from the roof tops!
